Electronic Coilover Suspension System
This product is a vehicle-specific electronic coilover suspension system designed to directly utilize the factory electronic damping connectors without modifying the original vehicle wiring harness, ensuring full compatibility with the OEM electronic control system.

While upgrading to a performance suspension setup, the factory electronic damping adjustment functions can still be fully retained, allowing drivers to enjoy enhanced handling performance while maintaining the convenience of the OEM comfort and driving mode adjustments.

The suspension features a high-strength monotube design with adjustable ride height, allowing precise setup based on different road conditions and driving preferences.

The damping system is equipped with a top-mounted adjustment mechanism offering 36 levels of damping adjustment, enabling fine tuning of suspension stiffness for street driving, mountain roads, and aggressive performance driving applications.

Electronic Damping Suspension Techmical Overview

This product retains the vehicle’s OEM electronic control system (current-controlled valve) while optimizing the internal mechanical damping structure of the damper. As a result, overall chassis control performance is significantly improved beyond factory settings.

Product Features
  • Compatible with OEM electronic damping systems
  • Direct plug-and-play factory connector design
  • Retains OEM electronic drive mode functions
  • Adjustable ride height
  • 36-level damping adjustment
  • Balanced comfort and handling performance
  • Suitable for both street and performance driving applications

The following outlines the differences in damping characteristics:

FIGURE A — OEM DAMPER CURVE

Figure A illustrates the operating range of the OEM electronic damping system.

The factory system is primarily designed for ride comfort and daily driving stability, featuring:

  • Limited electronic current (ampere) output range.
  • Conservative damping operation window.
  • Relatively narrow overall mechanical damping range.

Due to the smaller total damping range, the proportion of electronic adjustment within a fixed current variation is relatively high. As a result, the difference between drive modes is more noticeable from the driver’s perspective.

FIGURE B — UPGRADED COILOVER DAMPER CURVE

Figure B illustrates the damping operating range of our upgraded electronic coilover system.

This product features significant improvements in mechanical design:

  • Increased flow capacity of the damping valve system.
  • Expanded damping operation range.
  • Enhanced low-speed and high-speed damping control range.

The total physical damping range of the upgraded system is significantly greater than that of the OEM setup.
However, since the OEM electronic control system retains its original current output range, within this expanded mechanical range:

  • The proportion of electronic adjustment becomes relatively smaller.
  • The perceived difference between drive modes becomes more subtle compared to OEM.

This is a normal result of enhanced mechanical performance, not a reduction or loss of electronic control functionality. In fact, overall chassis support, stability, and handling limits are substantially improved. For users who prefer more pronounced differences between electronic drive modes, the EDN remote reservoir version is recommended.

FIGURE C — EDN REMOTE RESERVOIR DAMPING CHARACTERISTICS

Figure C illustrates the damping characteristics of the EDN remote reservoir version.

The EDN system utilizes an external high-pressure nitrogen reservoir, providing:

  • Improved oil and gas separation efficiency.
  • Faster damping response.
  • More direct and defined damping curve variation.
  • Enhanced stability under high-temperature conditions.

The external reservoir design allows the electronic control system to exert a more noticeable influence on damping characteristics, making it especially suitable for high-load and high-performance driving applications.
